Business Development Director

New Business Development Director - Contact Centre Solutions - UK based

As a result of MarketMakers International exceptional growth during the last 12 months, we are expanding our business development function, we are looking for 2 UK based Business Development Directors and 2 UK based Business Development Managers to join our team early in 2022.

MarketMarkers International is a very successful outsourced sales, lead generation and business development contact centre.

Working across key industry sectors, including Finance, Banking, Insurance, Payment Solutions, Education, Publishing, Utilities, Hospitality, FMCG, Professional Services, Engineering and Manufacturing.

To be considered for these positions you MUST have experience selling contact centre solutions to C-suite contacts.

To be successful in your application, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven skills in hitting new business targets selling Contact Centre Solutions.
  • First class communication, presentation and delivery skills at C-suite level, experienced in stakeholder management, building consensus and demonstrating ROI
  • Highly skilled in Consultative / Solution Selling with excellent commercial acumen.
  • Analytical, innovative and creative, tenacious, able to problem solve, build consensus and alignment across functions

As a new Business Development Director you will be tasked with penetrating key market sectors to build award winning sales, lead generation and business development strategies for your clients

Using MarketMakers International exceptional operational skills and capabilities in this area, your role is made easier...our track record, client experience and focus on results makes our contact centre a preferred partner to many global brands who wish to seamlessly outsource these critical areas.

With this in mind, your role is to work the new business development channels, build trust with key decision makers, demonstrate strong ROI models, secure commercial agreements and close the business before passing it to the internal operations team to run.

This is a demanding role, the rewards are high and the commission is uncapped.

Year 1 earnings should easily double your basic salary, the rest is up to you.

It is likely that to be successful in this role you should already have a high level of face to face sales experience typically:

  • No less than 3 years
  • Selling sales based concepts, sales solutions, sales lead generation services, appointment setting
  • With a typical contract value of between 100k-1M per annum per client
  • Into C-suite / Board level decision makers
  • Using Consultative / Solution Selling methods
  • Where clients require commitment, intelligence, insight and ongoing ROI based services
  • Typically where you are complementing an internal solution so alignment is critical, and ROI is a critical tenet of the sales proposition.

This is an important appointment - there are 2 positions available.

It is a critical requirement that you come from an outsourced background, a contact centre solutions background or a BPO organisation where you have been part of a new business development team, a bid team or a sales team.

The basic salary is flexible depending on your experience so help me understand how you can bring value to the team.
